13

Yes. DERY employs 10 R&D engineers and pattern specialists dedicated to product innovation. This in-house capability is what sets DERY apart as a fishing apparel factory that doesn't just produce — we innovate.
14
How does DERY control product quality across different production runs?
DERY implements a three-stage QC system: (1) incoming fabric inspection — every batch is tested for color fastness, UV blocking rate, and shrinkage; (2) in-line production inspection — stitching, reflective tape alignment, print quality checked every shift; (3) final inspection — 100% of garments are checked before packing. This system has made DERY a trusted OEM fishing shirts supplier for global brands.
15

This end-to-end service makes DERY the preferred custom fishing shirt manufacturer for first-time importers and experienced brands alike.
17

We produce your exact specifications without infringing on intellectual property — we manufacture your design for your brand only. Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) are available upon request for complete peace of mind.
19
How does the 3D design rendering service work before production?
DERY's in-house design team creates photorealistic 3D renderings of your custom fishing shirt or safety workwear before any fabric is cut. This service is free of charge. The 3D model shows fabric color, print pattern placement, reflective tape layout, and garment fit from every angle. You can request revisions until the design is perfect. This capability saves time, reduces sampling costs, and ensures you know exactly what you're getting — a key advantage of working with a technology-enabled fishing apparel factory.
20
Can DERY help design products from scratch if I only have a concept?
Absolutely. Many clients approach DERY with just a rough idea — "I want a sun protection fishing hoodie with a face mask and thumb holes in camo print." Our design team translates that into technical specs, selects appropriate fabric, and produces 3D renderings for approval. We also advise on industry trends, popular colorways, and functional features that sell. This makes DERY more than a custom clothing manufacturer — we're your product development partner.
21
What types of fabric printing does DERY offer for custom fishing shirts?
DERY specializes in two primary printing technologies: (1) Spot Dye Sublimation — vibrant, all-over prints where the dye bonds with polyester fibers at a molecular level, producing prints that never crack, peel, or fade; (2) Screen Printing — ideal for logos and simple graphics on specific panel positions. Both are executed at our fishing shirt manufacturing facility with precision color matching. We also offer embroidery for chest logos on safety shirts and polo designs.
22
How does moisture-wicking fabric actually work? Is it different from quick-dry?
Yes, they are related but different. Moisture-wicking fabric uses capillary action (micro-channel fibers) to pull liquid sweat away from the skin and spread it across a larger surface area. Quick-dry refers to how fast that moisture evaporates. DERY's performance fishing shirt factory uses fabrics that combine both properties: polyester-spandex blends with engineered fiber cross-sections that wick moisture rapidly and dry 3–4x faster than cotton. This combination keeps workers and anglers cool, dry, and comfortable during extended use.
23
Can DERY produce garments with anti-odor or antimicrobial properties?
Yes. DERY's custom sportswear factory offers optional anti-odor and antimicrobial fabric treatments. These are integrated at the fiber level (not topical coatings that wash off), using silver-ion or zinc-based technologies that inhibit bacterial growth. This is particularly popular for fishing shirts worn on multi-day trips and for hi vis safety shirts worn during long shifts where laundry access is limited.
24
What types of reflective tape does DERY use for hi vis safety shirts?
DERY uses 2-inch segmented silver reflective tape on all ANSI-compliant hi vis safety shirts. The "segmented" design features small gaps in the tape that allow the fabric to stretch and breathe, unlike solid PVC tape that restricts movement. Our reflective tape uses glass-bead retroreflective technology with a minimum RA value of 330 cd/lx/m², exceeding ANSI/ISEA 107 requirements. As a hi vis safety shirt factory, we also offer custom reflective tape colors and laser-cut logo patterns upon request.
25
What shipping methods does DERY offer for international orders?
DERY ships globally via three options: (1) Sea freight (FOB/CIF) — most economical for bulk orders over 1,000 pieces, 15–30 days transit depending on destination; (2) Air freight — fastest option, 5–10 days transit, suitable for urgent orders; (3) Express courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS/TNT) — best for samples and small orders, 3–7 days door-to-door. DERY also owns a dedicated logistics company, giving us better freight rates and tracking control than most wholesale clothing factories.
26
Does DERY ship using FOB, CIF, or EXW terms?
We are flexible with FOB Shenzhen/Guangzhou, CIF (to your nearest port), or EXW (ex-works, factory pickup). Our shipping team prepares all export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and compliance certificates. We work with experienced freight forwarders and can also handle door-to-door delivery for customers who prefer a complete logistics solution.
27
What is DERY's typical lead time for bulk production?
Standard lead time at DERY's fishing shirt factory is 15–25 business days for bulk production after sample approval. Factors that affect lead time: order quantity, complexity of printing/customization, fabric availability (custom fabrics may add 5–7 days), and current production load. We provide a confirmed delivery schedule with every quotation and keep you updated throughout the production process.
28
Does DERY offer rush/expedited production for urgent orders?
Yes. For urgent orders, DERY can expedite production to 10–12 business days for an additional rush fee. This is subject to production capacity at the time. We recommend planning 30 days ahead for standard orders, but we understand that business doesn't always follow a schedule — our OEM clothing factory team works hard to accommodate urgent requirements when possible.
29
What payment methods does DERY accept?
DERY accepts T/T (Telegraphic Transfer / Wire Transfer), L/C (Letter of Credit), Western Union, PayPal, and Alibaba Trade Assurance. For first-time orders, we typically require a 30% deposit with the balance paid before shipment (or against copy of shipping documents for established relationships). Payment terms can be negotiated for long-term partnership agreements.
30
Does DERY offer distributor or reseller programs?
Yes. DERY welcomes distributors, resellers, and brand partners worldwide. Our partnership program offers tiered pricing, exclusive design access, marketing support materials (product images, spec sheets, certification documents), and dedicated account management. Contact our B2B team to discuss volume discounts, exclusive territory agreements, and co-branding opportunities with our fishing apparel manufacturer.
31
Can DERY help with customs clearance and import documentation?
Absolutely. DERY provides complete export documentation with every order: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin (COO), SGS test reports, and compliance certificates (ANSI, EN ISO, AS/NZS where applicable). Our shipping team has decades of experience with customs requirements for US, EU, Australia, UK, Canada, and Middle Eastern markets. We also advise on duty rates and tariff classifications to help you estimate landed costs.
32
What are the best-selling styles for fishing shirts in the US market?
Based on DERY's sales data and market research, the top-performing fishing shirt styles in North America are: (1) Long sleeve hoodie with face mask (UPF 50+, thumb holes, zip pocket) — the #1 seller; (2) Short sleeve fishing polo (moisture-wicking, collar stays, micro-printed patterns); (3) Performance long sleeve crew (modern athletic fit, ventilated back panel). Our custom fishing shirt manufacturer team can provide detailed market insights for your target country.
33
What is the difference between ANSI Class 2 and Class 3 safety shirts?
ANSI Class 3 hi vis shirts require more reflective tape area (≥ 1,240 in² of background material + ≥ 310 in² of reflective tape) than Class 2 (≥ 775 in² + ≥ 201 in²). Class 3 is designed for workers exposed to highway-speed traffic (≥ 50 mph) and complex backgrounds. Class 2 is suitable for lower-speed environments like parking lots, warehouses, and local roads. DERY's hi vis safety shirt factory produces both classes — we help you select the correct classification based on your worksite risk assessment.
34
Can I combine fishing shirts and safety workwear in one order to reach the MOQ?
Yes. DERY allows mixed product orders to reach the minimum order quantity. For example, you can order 60 fishing shirts + 40 hi vis safety shirts in one production run to meet the 100-piece MOQ. This flexibility makes DERY a convenient wholesale clothing manufacturer for buyers who want to diversify their product line without committing to high volumes per SKU.
35
What is DERY's warranty policy for manufacturing defects?
DERY stands behind its quality. If a manufacturing defect is identified (fabric flaw, stitching failure, print defect, reflective tape peeling), we offer free replacement or repair for the affected items. We require photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt for inspection. This guarantee reflects our confidence as a quality-driven sportswear manufacturing company. Damage caused by improper washing, unauthorized alterations, or normal wear and tear is not covered.
36
Does DERY offer discounts for repeat orders or long-term partnerships?

Yes. DERY values long-term relationships. Repeat customers receive preferred pricing, reduced sample fees, and priority production scheduling. Annual volume agreements can lock in fixed pricing for 12 months, protecting you from raw material price fluctuations. We also offer exclusive design protection — if you develop a signature print or style with us, we won't produce it for other clients. Talk to our team about a tailored partnership program.

37
How does DERY handle product returns or exchanges for wholesale orders?

DERY's return policy covers manufacturing defects — we replace defective items or issue a credit for the next order. Returns must be reported within 7 days of delivery with supporting photos. For non-defective returns (wrong size selection, design change, overstock), we work with you case-by-case to find a fair solution — often offering a discount on the next order or accepting return at your shipping cost. Our goal is to build trust as a custom clothing factory that stands behind every shipment.

1
Is the built-in face mask breathable? Will it fog my sunglasses?
We designed a breathable mesh breathing zone specifically around the nose and mouth area. This high-airflow design ensures you can breathe comfortably during high-intensity activities while preventing warm air from rising and fogging your polarized fishing sunglasses.
2
How quick does the fabric dry? Is it suitable for saltwater fishing?
It dries incredibly fast—typically within 10-15 minutes after getting wet. The fabric features a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating and is highly resistant to saltwater corrosion, ensuring it won't stiffen, fade, or lose its shape after prolonged exposure to sea spray.
3
What printing methods do you use for custom logos?
We primarily use Full Sublimation Printing (best for colorful, full-body designs; never cracks, peels, or fades) and Silicon Heat Transfer or Screen Printing (best for solid chest/sleeve logos). All inks used are eco-friendly and wash-resistant.
4
Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order? What is the sample cost?
Yes! We highly recommend ordering a sample to test the fabric quality and sizing. Stock Sample (Plain fabric): $15 - $25 (shipped within 48 hours). Custom Sample (With your own design/logo): $50 - $80 ( refundable upon bulk order over 500 pcs). Sample Lead Time: 5 to 7 working days.
5
What is the difference between long sleeve and short sleeve fishing shirts for sun protection?
Long sleeve fishing shirts provide continuous UV coverage for the arms without requiring separate sunscreen application. They are the preferred choice for anglers who spend 6+ hours on the water. Short sleeve styles offer more airflow in extreme heat but leave the forearms exposed — you'd need to apply sunscreen on those areas. DERY's long sleeve UPF fishing shirts use lightweight 140–160 GSM fabric that blocks UV without feeling heavy, making them comfortable even in 35°C+ conditions.
6
Why are fishing shirts usually made from polyester instead of cotton?
Cotton absorbs water and stays wet, becoming heavy, uncomfortable, and offering zero UV protection (UPF ~5). Polyester is naturally UV-resistant, moisture-wicking, quick-drying, and lightweight. DERY's custom fishing shirt manufacturer uses polyester-spandex blends specifically because they dry 3–4x faster than cotton, resist saltwater damage, and can carry UPF 50+ sun protection built into the fiber itself — not just a topical coating that washes off.
7
What does "moisture-wicking" actually mean for a fishing shirt?
Moisture-wicking refers to the fabric's ability to pull sweat away from your skin and move it to the outer surface of the shirt where it can evaporate quickly. DERY's fishing apparel factory uses engineered polyester fibers with capillary channels that draw moisture horizontally across the fabric. This keeps you dry even in humidity, prevents chafing from wet fabric, and helps regulate body temperature during long days on the boat.
8
How often should I replace my UPF fishing shirts?
The UPF protection built into DERY's fishing shirt factory products is embedded in the yarn itself — not a spray-on coating — so it doesn't wash out. However, the shirt should be replaced when you notice: (1) fabric thinning from repeated wear, (2) loss of elasticity, (3) visible pilling or fraying. With proper care, our OEM fishing shirts typically last 2–3 seasons of regular use. We recommend checking the tag and considering replacement every 12–18 months for heavy-use anglers.
9
What color fishing shirt is best for sun protection?
Darker colors absorb more UV radiation but also trap more heat. Lighter colors reflect sunlight and keep you cooler but still provide the same UPF 50+ protection as darker shades when using certified fabric. DERY's sun protection fishing shirt factory recommends: light gray, heather, or light blue for tropical climates; charcoal, navy, or camo for temperate conditions. Our custom fishing shirts are available in any color with guaranteed UPF 50+ regardless of shade.
10
Can I wear a fishing shirt for activities other than fishing?
Absolutely. DERY's custom logo fishing shirts are designed for multi-sport use. The same UPF 50+ protection, moisture-wicking fabric, and quick-dry performance that makes them essential for fishing also works great for: hiking (breathable mesh prevents overheating), running (lightweight construction disappears on your body), cycling (thumb holes keep sleeves in place), and travel (quick-dry means wash-and-wear convenience). Many wholesale buyers stock our fishing apparel factory products for the outdoor lifestyle market, not just anglers.
11
Should I choose a hooded fishing shirt or a crew neck?
A hooded fishing shirt offers extra neck and ear protection from the sun — critical for anglers on open water where reflected UV from the water surface can cause burns in hard-to-reach areas. Many of hooded styles from DERY's fishing shirt factory also include a built-in face mask for complete coverage. Crew necks are better for extreme heat and are more versatile for casual wear. We recommend hooded for offshore/saltwater fishing, crew neck for inshore/freshwater.
12
What is the best fabric weight (GSM) for a fishing shirt?
For hot-weather fishing, 140–160 GSM (grams per square meter) is the sweet spot — light enough to be breathable and quick-drying, but dense enough to provide reliable UPF 50+ protection. Heavier fabrics (180–200 GSM) are more durable and suitable for cooler conditions or workwear applications. DERY's wholesale fishing shirts are available in multiple fabric weights so you can choose based on your target climate and season.
13
How should I wash my fishing shirts to maintain UPF protection?
To preserve the UPF properties and extend garment life: (1) Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent; (2) Avoid bleach and fabric softeners (they coat the fibers and reduce moisture-wicking); (3) Air dry or tumble dry on low — high heat can break down elastic fibers over time; (4) Do not iron (heat can damage synthetic fibers). DERY's fishing garment factory includes care instructions with every shipment. Properly cared for, our custom fishing shirts retain UPF 50+ protection for the life of the garment.
14
What type of fishing requires the highest level of sun protection?
Offshore / deep-sea fishing requires the highest protection because: (1) UV reflection from water surface increases exposure by up to 25%; (2) Anglers spend 8–12 hours continuously in direct sun; (3) No natural shade available. For these conditions, DERY recommends our long sleeve hooded fishing shirts with face mask and UPF 50+ fabric. Freshwater and inshore fishing still require protection but allow more flexibility in style choice.
15
How do DERY's fishing shirts perform in saltwater environments?
Excellent. Our saltwater fishing apparel is designed specifically for the harsh marine environment. The polyester-spandex fabric is saltwater-resistant — it won't degrade, stiffen, or discolor from salt exposure like cotton would. Zippers (if present) are corrosion-resistant. The quick-dry fabric means salt crystals rinse out easily in freshwater. This durability is one reason DERY is a preferred custom fishing shirt manufacturer for saltwater guides and tournament anglers.
16
What is the benefit of flatlock stitching in fishing shirts?
Flatlock stitching uses overlapping seams that lie flat against the skin, eliminating the raised, rough seams found in basic t-shirts. This prevents chafing and irritation when casting, paddling, or wearing the shirt under waders or a life jacket. DERY's performance fishing shirt factory uses flatlock seams at all body contact points — shoulders, sides, and arms — for maximum comfort during active fishing.
17
Can I add a zippered pocket to a custom fishing shirt?
Yes. DERY's custom fishing shirt services include adding water-resistant zippered pockets — typically a chest pocket for keys, phone, or fishing licenses. We use YKK or equivalent corrosion-resistant zippers suitable for marine environments. We can also add rod holder patches, sunglass loops, and other functional details. The pocket placement and size are fully customizable.
18
How does DERY's sublimation printing compare to screen printing for fishing shirts?
Dye sublimation is the superior choice for fishing shirts because: (1) The ink becomes part of the fabric, not a layer on top — it won't crack, peel, or fade; (2) It doesn't block the fabric's moisture-wicking properties; (3) It allows all-over prints with unlimited colors. Screen printing creates a plastic layer on top of the fabric that can crack and can block breathability. DERY's fishing shirt factory specializes in dye sublimation for all custom printed fishing shirts.
19
What is the typical fit of DERY's fishing shirts?
Our wholesale fishing shirts feature a modern athletic fit — not baggy, not skin-tight. The cut follows the body's natural shape while allowing full range of motion for casting. The shoulder and sleeve design accommodates overhead movements without the hem riding up. Chest and waist proportions are designed for active wear. We also offer custom sizing — provide your measurements and we'll produce a pattern that fits your target market.
20
Does DERY use recycled or eco-friendly fabric options for fishing shirts?
Yes. DERY's fishing apparel manufacturer offers recycled polyester fabric options made from post-consumer PET bottles. This material maintains the same UPF 50+, moisture-wicking, and quick-dry properties as virgin polyester while reducing carbon footprint. We also offer bluesign® certified fabric options upon request. Many of our wholesale clients choose eco-friendly materials for their sustainability branding.
21
Can I order fishing shirts with different designs per size or per color?
Yes. In a single production run, DERY's custom fishing shirt factory can produce: different colors per size range (e.g., S-M-L in blue, XL-2XL-3XL in grey); different designs within one order (minimum 100 pcs per design); and mix of styles (some hooded, some crew neck) in one shipment. This flexibility makes us a preferred wholesale fishing shirt company for brands launching diverse product lines.
22
What information does DERY need to produce a perfectly fitting fishing shirt?
For standard sizes (S–5XL), we work from our established size charts for American, European, and Asian body types. For custom sizing, we need: (1) Chest circumference at widest point; (2) Waist at natural waistline; (3) Hip circumference; (4) Sleeve length from shoulder seam; (5) Body length from high point shoulder. Our OEM fishing shirt manufacturer team can also work from a reference sample that fits well.
23
How does DERY handle color matching for custom fishing shirt designs?
DERY's fishing shirt factory uses Pantone color matching for all custom orders. You provide the Pantone codes, and we match them precisely during the sublimation or fabric dyeing process. We can also do custom color development for unique brand colors. Pre-production samples are always provided for color approval before bulk manufacturing, ensuring your private label fishing apparel matches your brand guidelines exactly.
24
What is the minimum order quantity for multiple fishing shirt designs?
The standard MOQ from DERY's custom fishing shirt manufacturer is 100 pieces per design per colorway. However, if you order multiple designs in one production run, the total can be split across designs — for example: 50 pcs of Design A + 50 pcs of Design B = 100 pcs total. Mixed sizing within each design is always allowed. This low MOQ makes DERY accessible for brands launching their first fishing apparel collection.

Can DERY produce fishing shirts with reflective elements for low-light safety?
Yes. DERY's sportswear manufacturing factory can integrate reflective piping, logos, or trim into fishing shirt designs — particularly useful for anglers fishing at dawn/dusk or near boat traffic. We use 3M-certified reflective materials that won't degrade in saltwater. This feature is popular for guide service uniforms and tournament crew apparel.
26
What is the typical lifespan of a sublimation print on a fishing shirt?
Because dye sublimation bonds at the molecular level with polyester fibers, the print will last as long as the shirt itself — typically 2+ years with regular use. It won't crack, peel, or fade from sun exposure, saltwater, or repeated washing. This is a key advantage of sourcing from DERY's fishing shirt manufacturer that specializes in sublimation.
27
How should fishing shirts be packed for international shipping?
DERY's fishing apparel factory uses export-standard packaging: individually poly-bagged, then packed in sturdy export cartons suitable for sea freight. We can also customize packaging — branded poly bags, hang tags, barcode stickers, retail-ready folding, and poly mailers for e-commerce fulfillment. Just specify your packaging requirements when placing the order.
28
Can DERY match competitor pricing for bulk fishing shirt orders?
DERY competes on value, not just price. As a direct fishing shirt manufacturer, we eliminate middlemen, which means our pricing is already factory-direct. We regularly match or beat competitor quotes for equivalent quality. Send us your target price and competitor reference, and our team will review what we can do within your budget — including fabric and finish alternatives that maintain quality while hitting cost targets.

What is the best fabric blend for fishing shirts in tropical vs temperate climates?
For tropical climates (high heat, high humidity): 92% polyester / 8% spandex, 140 GSM — maximum breathability and airflow. For temperate climates (variable weather, cooler mornings): 88% polyester / 12% spandex, 160–170 GSM — better insulation while still moisture-wicking. For transitional seasons: the same 140 GSM shirt works well with layering. DERY's custom fishing shirt manufacturer recommends different weight options for different seasons.
30
Does DERY offer size labeling in different regional standards?
Yes. DERY's fishing garment factory can label sizes according to: US (S–5XL), UK/EU (46–62), Asia (M–5XL), or your own custom size chart. We print or sew labels based on your target market. We also offer removeable labels for brands that prefer to add their own. This flexibility is standard for all wholesale fishing shirt orders.
31
Can DERY produce fishing shirts with built-in insect repellent technology?
Yes. DERY offers insect-repellent fabric treatment as an optional feature. The treatment uses permethrin or plant-based alternatives integrated at the fiber level, lasting through 70+ washes. This is popular for fishing shirts used in marsh environments, swamp fishing, and tropical destinations where mosquitoes and biting insects are a concern. Available upon request for all custom fishing apparel orders.
32
How do DERY's fishing shirts handle body odor during multi-day fishing trips?
Our performance fishing shirts feature anti-odor technology that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria on the fabric surface. This treatment is integrated during manufacturing and lasts the life of the garment — it doesn't wash out. Combined with the quick-dry property (bacteria thrive in moisture), anglers can wear the shirt multiple days between washes without odor buildup.
33
What should I look for when choosing a fishing shirt manufacturer for my brand?

The five factors to evaluate: (1) Certifications — does the factory offer SGS-certified UPF 50+ fabric? (2) Minimums — does the MOQ fit your business stage? (3) Customization range — can they do sublimation, embroidery, screen printing, custom packaging? (4) Communication — do they provide 3D renderings before sampling? (5) References — do they have export experience to your target market? DERY's fishing shirt factory scores high on all five — 25 years in business, SGS/3M certified, MOQ from 100 pcs, full OEM/ODM services, and a dedicated English-speaking project manager for every order.

34
Can the front part of the fishing shirt be detached?
No — the hood is permanently sewn in. For custom OEM orders, we can produce a non-hooded version of this shirt at MOQ 100 pcs. Many brands order both versions (hooded and non-hooded) from the same fabric for a coordinated collection.
35
Can I get this shirt in different colors?
Yes. Orders can include different colors mixed together. Custom Pantone colors available at MOQ 100 pcs. All-over sublimation can produce any color or pattern — camo, gradients, photo-quality prints included.
36
How do I start an order?
Contact Junkay Lee at junkaylee@derysport.com or +86 13902424682 (WhatsApp) with your quantity, color preferences, and customization requirements. We'll respond with a quote and fabric swatches within 12 business hours.
37
Does the built-in visor actually stay in place in the wind?
Yes. The visor is a stiffened insert sewn into the leading edge of the hood — it's not a removable piece and it doesn't rely on tension to stay in position. At normal boat speeds (up to ~25 knots), the visor stays put. At higher speeds, the hood's drawcord can be tightened to lock everything down. Unlike a separate cap, the visor can't blow off because it's physically attached to the garment.
38
How does the zipper pocket hold up in saltwater?
The zipper is a corrosion-resistant YKK coil zipper with a rubberized pull tab. It's designed to withstand saltwater exposure without seizing. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and it'll last the life of the jersey. The pocket itself is mesh-lined so it drains instantly — it won't hold a puddle of seawater against your phone.
39
Do you offer this jersey in long sleeve and short sleeve?
Sure, we can provide it according to your requirements. The MOQ is 100 pieces. Many tournament anglers prefer long sleeves for UPF coverage and the thumb hole integration; short sleeve is popular for freshwater summer leagues and kayak fishing.
40
Why work directly with a fishing shirt factory instead of a trading company?
A trading company adds cost and communication layers. Working directly with DERY means you speak to the production team managing your order, receive factory-direct pricing (no intermediary markup), and get faster turnaround because there's no relaying messages between you → agent → factory → agent → you. You control customization details at the source.

We sincerely welcome brand name companies, sports clubs, schools, enterprises and factories from all over the world to establish business relationships with us.
